Bollywood actor and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owner Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to KD Hospital in Vaishno Devi Circle on Wednesday afternoon due to a high-grade fever, despite the terrible weather conditions that pervaded Ahmedabad. On Wednesday night, his wife, Gauri Khan, traveled to Ahmedabad to be by his side.
At first, it was thought that SRK might have heatstroke, a disorder that frequently includes a high fever. Leading sources later revealed that the celebrity was suffering from a viral infection, while consequences from the heat have not been ruled out.
The 58-year-old Shah Rukh Khan was in the city on Tuesday, May 21, night to support his team, which earned a spot in the IPL 2024 finals, together with his son Abram and daughter Suhana. According to the sources, the celebrity watched a night game between SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Narendra Modi Stadium. Following the game on Wednesday, he went back to his hotel around 1:30 a.m. and stayed up late celebrating his daughter Suhana’s birthday.
Khan had a high-grade fever on Wednesday morning and was rushed to KD Hospital for a comprehensive medical examination. According to reliable sources, Khan underwent a thorough medical evaluation for a viral infection. Fans are worried since he has been discharged, but his health situation is not been disclosed.
It goes without saying that SRK’s fans are concerned by the news of his hospitalisation. Many users expressed their worries about their favourite actor on their individual X accounts. “OMG, I hope he’s fine,” a fan commented. “Get well soon, our king,” another fan added.
Actress Juhi Chawla, a close friend of the actor, also paid a visit to the KD hospital in Ahemdabad. She provided an update on Shah Rukh’s condition, saying, “He wasn’t feeling well last night, but he’s getting treated and felt much better this evening.” With any luck, he will be up soon and watching the squad play in the championships this weekend from the stands.”
