Acknowledging that some students were experiencing technical difficulties, and server related issued NTA issued a statement of assurance to the anxious students.

“Around 4 lakh candidates for NEET UG 2026 Examination on 21st June have downloaded their Admit Cards. We are aware that some of you are facing technical glitches or server issues in accessing your admit cards. Our teams have been working towards resolving all these issues. We are there, for you and will ensure that very soon, all candidates get their admit cards. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted,” the NTA stated in a post on X.

The admit cards were released on 14th June in the evening. Candidates who will appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test can download the hall ticket through the official website of NTA NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.

As of today15th June, 2026, 8:59 AM, around 4 lakh students have downloaded their admit cards.

Meanwhile, concerns on refund are also being raised. The latest public notice issued by NTA in regard to refund correction window is being labelled as ‘misleading’ and ‘a scam’.

“NTA’s NEET refund verification is a trap. If you choose not to edit your bank details just to get your admit card, it says you have ‘agreed not to provide details for refund.’ Why create such a misleading option in the first place?” a user on X wrote.

Another alleged that the NTA had deliberately blocked the Re-NEET admit card download link behind a mandatory bank account re-verification portal. “If you don’t carefully resubmit your details or if the site glitches out, you risk messing up your refund entirely,” the student posted.

The issue surfaced as a plethora of students had skipped the edit and resubmit option as they had already submitted the required details when the testing agency had first opened the refund portal. Defending its move, NTA put out a tweet on Sunday (June 14), saying, “The functionality of verifying your Bank Account details for refund, after login with 2-factor authentication, is in the interest of students only.”
