Five men of Indian origin have been accused of the murder of 35-year-old Kuldeep Kumar, an Indian, in the United States.
Speaking to the press, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer and New Jersey State Police Superintendent Colonel Patrick Callahan said 34-year-old Sandeep Kumar of South Ozone Park, New York, will be produced in court to face murder and conspiracy to commit murder charges. This event happened in Manchester Township sometime on or after October 22, 2024.
The police found out that Sandeep was accompanied by four other suspects: Sourav Kumar,23; Gaurav Singh,27; Nirmal Singh,30; and Gurdeep Singh, 22, all of whom are from Greenwood, Indiana. The group has been alleged to have killed Kuldeep Kumar.
On the 14th of December in the year 2024, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit reported that one was found dead in the Greenwood Wildlife Management Area in Manchester Township. The law enforcing agents confirmed that the body was in a state of rigor mortis.
An autopsy done by Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office established that Kuldeep Kumar had been killed by gunshots in the chest, and the cause of death was homicide.
This horrific crime of violence shows how dangerous it is to live in immigrant enclaves and questions the purpose of violence. The police are yet to complete their probe in the case to get more information on the killing sprees of Kuldeep Kumar.
The counts filed against the accused are an indication that justice has to be sought whenever a violent crime has been committed. It has become a wake-up call to the Indian-origin people, in the United States in particular and other parts of the world in general, that solutions to such problems are sought collectively.
As the legal battle continues, more details about the case are still anticipated.
