In Rajasthan, a groundbreaking initiative titled “Bounce of Joy” has been launched by the State Education Department and the Stears Foundation (in collaboration with the National Sports Promotion Organization-NSPO and ITCS). The program aims to foster sports talent and enhance physical education in schools. The Principal Secretary of the Education Department, Navin Jain, initiated this strategic partnership to promote overall development through sports in the state’s schools.

Speaking at the program’s inauguration, the Secretary highlighted that through “Bounce of Joy,” physical education teachers in schools will receive specialized training to nurture young sports talents within and outside the playing field, thereby shaping future champions. He emphasized that integrating sports into education promotes physical well-being and fosters student discipline, teamwork, and adaptability. This initiative aligns closely with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to strengthen India as a sporting powerhouse.

Under the “Bounce of Joy” program, a pilot phase has been launched in 100 schools across Rajasthan, with 132 physical education teachers selected based on “Needragape Analysis.” It is believed that dedicated coaches and trained physical education teachers will encourage sports in schools, paving the way for success in sports across the state.

Ali Harris Shere, CEO of ITCS Limited, expressed pride in partnering with the State Education Department and the Stears Foundation for this transformative initiative. He highlighted that the program reaffirms ITCS’s commitment to youth development and community engagement.

Siddharth Upadhyay, Chairman of the Stears Foundation, emphasized that “Bounce of Joy” aims to empower physical education teachers and drive positive change in sports. Committed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, our program will contribute to India’s success in international sporting events.

By reimagining the role of physical education in schools and empowering educators, “Bounce of Joy” aims to create a new narrative of success in sports and contribute significantly to India’s achievements on the global stage.
