Gwalior: Jiwaji University in Gwalior has achieved a milestone by becoming the university in the state to attain an A++ status. Unfortunately the university’s success story is now overshadowed by a concerning trend of increasing complaints through the CM Helpline. It seems that the university administration has struggled to address the reported grievances via the CM Helpline resulting in a three fold surge in complaint numbers.

Previously there were around one hundred registered complaints during a period. However this number has significantly risen, with over 300 complaints received in the 15 days.

The reputation of the university took a hit when a scandal involving mark sheets came to light.. Before its consequences could fade away Jiwaji University found itself inundated with a wave of complaints pouring into the CM Helpline. This sudden influx of complaints has pushed the count beyond 700 within a span of just 15 days making it an unprecedented situation in Madhya Pradesh’s university system.

In days there has been an increase in complaints related to irregularities and alleged scams. The instances of registered grievances have soared from 3 to 150 within one incident. Within 15 days, over 200 new complaints have been added to the tally.

Various student groups have come together to express their concerns and push for transparency and accountability, within the university’s administration. At the time the university’s management has acknowledged these concerns. Made commitments to actively address and resolve these important matters.
