Bhopal: Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, will provide a major bonus to the woman under the Ladli Behna Scheme today. The Ladli Behna Yojana means the girl child’s sister, and during a state-level event in Bina, Sagar district, the CM will credit ₹1,574 crore into the account of the beneficiaries. Additionally, ₹332.43 crore will be credited into the bank accounts of the individuals who benefit from the Scheme of Social Security Pension.
The Chief Minister also hailed the scheme to empower women, saying that he is following the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “As per the Prime Minister’s intention, it is my duty to work for women’s upliftment. Today, after Sawan, our sisters will receive another gift under Ladli Behna Yojana. ” Dr. Yadav urged all the ladies to use this money for their betterment and cited examples of women who have bought sewing machines and other equipment to start their businesses. These programs have already had a positive result and generated income for the families, not only for the women but also for their children and households.
He said that now is the time for the Chief Minister to do whatever is possible for the welfare of women and their families. He urged everyone to go hand in hand with the government on the issues of women’s emancipation.
On the same day, while on a tour to Sagar district, Dr. Yadav will disburse the amount to the vulnerable families and unveil developmental projects to be carried out in the area by inaugurating or laying foundation stones for those projects. According to Ladli Behna Yojana, a sum amount of ₹1,574 crore will be transferred to 1.29 crore women, with an additional ₹332.43 crore pension beneficiaries will be credited.
As of today, under the Ladli Behna Yojana, women have been sanctioned ₹24,499 crore, and more than ₹3,000 crore have been credited to pension beneficiaries.
