Haryana’s Aam Aadmi Party also set a deadline on Monday they will announce their whole list of candidates for assembly elections if AAP does not reach Congress for the pre-poll alliance before evening. The Haryana Assembly is all set to go for poll for all the ninety assembly seats in the areas fixed for October 5.
Sushil Gupta, the Haryana AAP chief, later reiterated that AAP is willing to fight all the seats on its own if need be. He said that the party has not been communicated in any way by the leadership about the proposed alliance with the Congress party. Gupta, speaking as the AAP Haryana chief, confidently announced himself ready for all ninety assembly seats. The high command has yet not communicated to us anything about the alliance If nothing comes today, by evening, the party list of candidates for all ninety seats will be out.
In addition to Gupta, AAP MP Sanjay Singh also stressed the party’s willingness to go for the elections in Haryana, revealing that the process of finalizing the candidates has been done. He said they are only awaiting clearance from the party leadership to come out with the list of candidates.
The following has been said or discussed concerning the pre-election coalition between AAP & Congress. Speaking to the media on Sunday during an interview, AAP’s chief negotiator, Raghav Chadha, said he expected good news in connection with the formation of the government in the state. He said that the possible partnership of the two would benefit both parties since the partnership would make them formidable in the region.
As the elections in Haryana are drawing closer, the two parties are pressed for time to come up with their blueprints. If Congress and AAP come to a pact, then the alliance may substantially reshape the politics of the state of Punjab. However, AAP’s willingness to go to the extent of fighting all the seats shows that they are willing to forge ahead come rain and shine.
