With the desire to make investment circles wider and draw in the global investors, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has reached Singapore.
Dr Shilmak Ambule, the High Commissioner of India to Singapore, warmly received the Chief Minister in Singapore. Singapore Business Federation (SBF) is hosting its first Singapore-India Network for Growth (SING) Forum 2026 for which Sai has been invited. The forum will be held on 5th October and is intended to connect government officials, industry players, investors and businesses from the two countries.
Sai is likely to showcase the development of Chhattisgarh, its capacity and potential of investment and opportunities in various sectors during his engagement. He will also participate in a CEO roundtable where he will be engaged in discussions on investment and business opportunities in the state with the investors and industry stakeholders in Singapore.
The SING Forum will be conducted to build closer collaboration in the economic and business arena between Singapore and India. The forum will also feature investment projects that would benefit foreign companies in Singapore and India, as well as opportunities for Singapore companies to do business with India.
Chhattisgarh can implement its new industrial plan and tap its natural resources, infrastructure, skilled manpower and emerging industries to become a big investor market, said the state government.
The Chief Minister is also going to display the state development agenda and details about the opportunities being offered to the investors in different industries.
Sai’s visit to Singapore from October 2-7 helps the state of Chhattisgarh boost its international partnerships as it targets investment in the region.
The visit is also expected to give the state of Chhattisgarh a chance to highlight its investment opportunities directly to top business leaders and corporates from Singapore and do business talks with them.
