Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being the Chief for 12 years and said that 12 years in office were the period of national service, good governance, and public welfare.
Sai spoke highly of the wisdom of Prime Minister Modi and welcomed India’s transition to a new development and a new level of self-confidence, security, and recognition in the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. He said over the last 12 years, the Prime Minister, with his style of governance, prioritized service, transparency, and Antyodaya (welfare of the last person in society) in the process of formulating policy.
The Chief Minister pointed out that the transformation brought about through schemes targeting the poor, farmers, women, youth, and tribal people can be observed throughout the country. The lives of millions of people have transformed, and social inclusion and economic empowerment have strengthened with the implementation of flagship programmes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, Har Ghar Jal, Jan Dhan Yojana, and Digital India.
Speaking about Chhattisgarh, Sai said Prime Minister Modi’s leadership has been instrumental in boosting development in Bastar and other Naxal-affected tribal areas of the State. The connectivity in remote areas of the State has been improved with roads, health, education, mobile, etc., banking systems, and welfare packages, he added.
The Chief Minister also added that the concept of “Viksit Bharat @2047” was moving on with citizens’ faith and involvement. The ideology of the PM “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas” has ingrained itself in the essence of governance and nation building, he added.
Sai reiterated the fact that the Chhattisgarh Government will be committed towards delivering the developed centres to society and also to operationalizing the central welfare schemes effectively. He also extended a happy greeting to Prime Minister Modi and wished him good health, longevity, and in all his endeavors to make India one of the developed nations.
