Raipur: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, CM Baghel would attend certain inauguration events taking the state towards progress. As per his schedule, Baghel would depart for Bematra today at 12:30 pm from Raipur Police Grounds and land at the district headquarters Bemetra.
At 1:15 pm Baghel would inaugurate the laboratory and library of swami Atmanand English medium school. At around 2:20 pm he would unveil the Mahatma Gandhi Statue at ram mandir complex following which he would address the Kisan Sammelan held Basic Shala ground at 3.30 pm. A discussion with the heads of the society at the circuit house at 6:30 and a meeting with the district officials would be the last event on the CM Baghel trip itinerary for today.
Earlier today, Baghel paid tributes to the father of Nation on his 152nd birth anniversary. Recalling Mahatma Gandhi’s stay in Chhattisgarh during the freedom struggle, he reminisced the patriotism that was instilled in the farmers of the state. He further added to follow the principles of Mahatma Gandhi and announced to incorporate his ideologies in the academic curriculum.
