Jaipur: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were guests in Jaipur on Sunday when they won the 52nd match of Indian Premier League against Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 4 wickets. Abdul Samad’s last ball six helped SRH beat RR by 4 wickets.
The win was reaffirmed with a tweet from IPL’s official Twitter account, “What a Game. Abdul Samad wins it for the SunRisers as he hits a maximum off the final delivery. SRH win by 4 wickets”.
The Aiden Markam led side is in a desperate need of a win in the season. A loss on Sunday against RR can further dent their chances to qualify for playoffs. Contrarily, RR have lost momentum a bit after dominating the IPL 2023 after RR lost to Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans in their last two encounters and would be aiming for a win in their next match.
Now, Kolkata Knight Riders are all set to host Punjab Kings in the 53rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) today. Having been out-batted by Mumbai Indians in their last outing, the Shikhar Dhawan-led side may be a spot ahead of the eight-placed KKR with a two-point lead but both the teams are staring at elimination.
