Raipur: BCCI Vice President and Rajya Sabha member Rajiv Shukla arrived in Raipur to watch the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) played on Wednesday at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Nava Raipur. After witnessing the excitement of the match, he reached the Congress headquarters, Rajiv Bhawan, on Thursday, where he met with Congress leaders. During this, he discussed various issues of the organization and Chhattisgarh with the in-charge General Secretary, Malkit Singh Gendu.
He was welcomed by Congress leaders at Rajiv Bhavan and discussed several important topics. During this discussion, political issues in the state were also discussed. Meanwhile, several senior and prominent Congress leaders arrived at Rajiv Bhavan to meet with Rajiv Shukla.
Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 6 wickets in the match played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders. Virat Kohli led his team to victory with a brilliant unbeaten 105 runs at the Raipur ground. With this victory, RCB reached the top of the points table.
