Udaipur: Two individuals were arrested in Udaipur on Thursday night accused of conspiring the brutal beheading of the tailor in Udaipur. The accused identified as Mohsin and Asif are reportedly being interrogated, a police official said on Friday. The other two arrested earlier were brought to Ajmer’s high-security jail on Thursday night. Notably, all the four arrested accused will be produced before the Jaipur court today, July 01 at 5:00 PM.
Meanwhile, 32 Police officials including IG and SP of Udaipur have been transferred in a move after the family of the kin claimed the police ignored the victims’ complaints of receiving threats.
In the notice issued late on Thursday night, Vikas Kumar was posted as SP in place of Manoj Kumar. Vikas Kumar served as the SP Ajmer earlier. Prafulla Kumar was handed over the charge as the IG. IG Udaipur Hingaljadan was removed and appointed as IG Civil Rights.
The Udaipur police were strongly criticized for not providing security to Kanhaiya Lal after he complained of threats.
