The CBI team, which had been deputed in Bhopal for a few days, meanwhile has returned to Delhi where it carried out an intensive questioning process in the case. Investigators reportedly took cues from several leads, and met with several people around, including those who they felt were somehow connected to the ongoing investigation.

The agency will now be concentrating on investigating digital evidence, mobile phone records, electronic communications and witness statements it has gathered during the investigation, sources say. The materials may be crucial in determining the events that led to Twisha Sharma’s death, officials say.
