Prominent Indian actress and politician Kirron Kher has tested positive for COVID-19. Kher herself confirmed the news on social media on March 20, 2023. Sharing the diagnosis on Twitter, the veteran actress also requested those who come in contact with her to get tested.
The Tweet read- “I have tested positive for Covid. So anyone who has come in contact with me please get yourself tested.” Sooner ‘Get Well Soon’ messages started pouring in.
The actress had been in discussion about her illness for some time when she was diagnosed with blood cancer in 2021. Kirron Kher was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, which underwent a prolonged treatment, and the actress defeated cancer.
She is a popular actor on-screen and has done many films with the leading production houses in Indian cinema. She’s one of the audience’s favourite moms on-screen, especially after her performances in movies like Devdas, Rang De Basanti, Hum Tum, Dostana, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, and Main Hoon Na among others.
