The first glimpse of Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer spy thriller is out. The next instalment of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious YRF Spy Universe is set to headline the universe’s first female-fronted tentpole joined by Bobby Deol who plays the father to Alia Bhatt. The movie is helmed by Shiv Rawail. Anil Kapoor will also reprise his role from War 2.
The trailer takes a time leap from War 2, in which Bobby is seen tattooing young Sita played by Alia. The teaser begins with Sita and Baba sharing a toast on her 18th birthday- the surprise gift receives on the special occasion catches an eye as she turns an adult- her first spy mission. Initaially looking disappointed, Sita is then seen taking down an army of men, striking them down one by own followed by scenes from her learning days. The teaser closes with “Happy Birthday,” a smiling Baba tells Sita, as she smiles back before casually shooting a man in the head.

The teaser also reveals the release date of Alpha, which is July 3.
Fans are yet to get a glimpse of other lead cast members, including Sharvari. YRF will unveil Sharvari, the other main lead, as soon as each persona is developed for the audience through its marketing campaign.
Alpha marks the first full-fledged action-packed film of Alia Bhatt. The movie is anticipated to place a strong emphasis on the key characters’ interpersonal relationships and emotional arcs. It has faced many initial delays as the production house in respect to Salman Khan moved the release date ahead.
