New Delhi: In a recent update, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued notice on payment process for students applying for verification and re-evaluation services.
In an official notice on social media, the board said that payment gateways of SBI, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Indian Bank are currently active on the verification and re-evaluation portal. It also clarified that students are not required to have bank accounts in any of these banks to complete the payment process successfully.
Different online payment methods, including UPI, net banking, debit cards, and credit cards can be used to make transactions. To ensure a smooth and convenient application process for all students.
As of Wednesday morning, 40,000 students successfully completed verification and re-evaluation applications. The board has also requested students not to fall prey for fake notices circulating online and rely only on information published on the website.
Students are advised to complete the application process before the deadline. They must ensure the details are filled appropriately to avoid issues in the process. Under the one-application policy students should carefully review all scanned copies before applying. Since multiple subjects can be included within a single request, candidates are encouraged to identify every issue and every answer requiring re-evaluation before completing the online form.
Fee for verification of issues observed in scanned answer books at Rs 100 per answer book. Students reporting missing pages, missing supplements, blurred scans or similar concerns must pay the prescribed fee through online payment modes available on the portal. Students seeking review of specific answers will need to pay Rs 25 for each question selected for re-evaluation
