A day after the rape and killing of a Budgam child, the family is clamouring for an answer and appealing for exemplary punishment for the crime. The family is demanding exemplary punishment of the culprit of the killing of the child while demanding answers, a day after the body of the killed and raped Budgam child was found.
The entire neighborhood of the brutally assaulted and killed child remained drowned in grief and anger, seeking speedy investigation and action.
There were visitors representing condolences, and the house was full of visitors who came to mourn for the victim.
Her mother has been passing out from grief and is barely conscious, the neighbors reported.
Of course, her father has not been able to utter a single word either because of the tragic and shocking end of his sweet girl, the only daughter he has.
In a statement to a media outlet, a relative of the kid, who was killed by rape and murder, asked what they had done to deserve being murdered in just that way.
“How did it come upon her that she couldn’t even get to her seminary before she was taken like this? Who is the killer who did this?” the shivering grandfather asked.
When the grandfather complained that this child had already prayed five times a day, he wrote an extra prayer on the tapestry. The grandfather said the child would pray five times daily, even at this young age, and drew an additional prayer on the tapestry.
“Even for Fajr, she would remain amongst the wokaih that are pure; she was also religious in her outlook, and then a tyrant would attack her just as this person does, he said.
When she didn’t make it home on time, the grandfather reported that the whole family was scouring the area looking for her.
But he could not “fathom courage” to look at her dead body,” he said.
The family tried to find the child during the whole night, the murdered child’s uncle told the media.
In the morning, [he said] they found her dead. She would appear to have been beaten to a pulp as her hands were clenched and her blazers were in her hands, and there was grass in it.
The uncle alleged that he had found dark bruises on the child’s face and the marks of “heartless criminal assault.
The victim used to say that she wanted to be a Hafiza, who remembered her words, and seemed to be of the same age as the child.
Her dream was prematurely cut short, and our funeral march on the dignity of man is underway,” she lamented.
The Police have said that one has been arrested, including him, after he confessed to the crime, but demands for exemplary punishment and proper investigation of the crime have been pouring in.
SSP Budgam, Hariprasad K K, said the investigation work of the Police is in the best hands so that the guilty would be brought to book.
