Lahore: Pakistan Police has started a siege fire across the residence of Former Prime Minister, Imran Khan. According to the police, Imran Khan has not handed over the suspects who were hiding in his residence regarding the Graft case. The Police Officials also revealed that the last date to hand over the suspects was Thursday.
The siege fire also led to many protestors being killed and several being injured. Imran Khan also tweeted about the same, asking for an immediate inquiry. He tweeted that, “An immediate inquiry needs to be held on the police firing on unarmed protesters killing at least 25 and injuring hundreds. In France despite protesters hurling petrol bombs at the police, not once were they fired upon by the police.”
The Pakistani Police has also blocked all the entrances of Imran Khan’s residence. After having a look at the violent clashes followed by his arrest, Imran Khan said that this situation will allow the whole country to suffer like Eastern Pakistan. He also said that the ruling party is doing this controversy to dig down the fame of his Political Party.
Imran Khan also faced corruption charges in the Graft case. However, he declined his appearance in the Corruption Investigation. Imran Khan was arrested by the Police on 9 May but later given a bail by the court for further investigation.
