BASTAR: The Bastar police in a joint operation along with their Orissa counterpart nabbed 2 youths in connection to Ganja smuggling. As per reports, officials of the Nagarnar police acting on a tip-off launched a search at the check post during which accused Shivam alias Bansi Tamrkar and Kamla Pandey were nabbed. On searching the vehicle, the police officials found Ganja in bulk in the trunk of the car. The accused former is identified as a resident of Anuppur district of MP and the latter is a resident of the Lalganj district, UP.
The police have seized around 56 kgs of Ganja worth Rs 5.60 lakh. A case has been lodged under the NDPS Act against the accused and further probe is underway.
