Iran’s state broadcaster reports that the US military targeted three cities in the province of Bushehr overnight. The deputy political, security and social affairs officer of the Bushehr governor told the broadcaster that the air strikes hit areas around the cities of Bushehr, Jam and Khormoj. Reports citing Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences revealed an Iranian couple and a toddler were killed in the attack on Qeshm island. Another 2 children ag3d 7 and 9 were wounded.
At the Strait of Hormuz, the IRGC said two oil tankers attempting to use the “unsafe route” south of the Strait of Hormuz turned back overnight, after a “severe fire” broke out on one of them.
In a statement on its official Telegram channel, the IRGC said the vessels had been directed onto the route by US aircraft. It did not identify the tankers by name, flag or operator, nor provide details on casualties or damage.
The statement added that the strait would remain closed as long as US officials continued what it called threats, provocative rhetoric, and interference in regional maritime activities, warning that such actions would only make the situation more difficult.

Kuwait’s defence ministry has announced that one worker has been killed in an Iranian attack that targeted a building belonging to a Chinese company in the north of the country.
Major General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi said the attack had caused significant material damage to the building and that authorities had begun taking the necessary measures to deal with the incident.
In retaliation to strikes at its forces in the Middle East, yhe US miltary bombed Iran, with explosions heard along the country’s southern coast and in the central city of Kazerun.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) forces have claimed to carry out a “heavy wave of strikes” against dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targets in Iran on Wednesday (local time), calling the action a response to attempted Iranian missile strikes on US forces in West Asia.
