In a small ceremony in the United Kingdom, the Nobel Laureate and Pakistani champion for girls’ education, married a top-ranking officer of the Pakistan Cricket Board. She uploaded a few photos from the day on social media, stating that it “marks a treasured day” in her life.

Visuals from the wedding were published on Twitter, including one of the bride looking pleasant and stunning. She wore a traditional suit with a kurta, slacks, and a dupatta that she wore over her head in a beige-tinted hue of pink. Adding glamour with a pair of earrings and a prominent maang-teeka as her only accessories. She was glowing with her natural makeup. Her spouse chose to wear a tuxedo with a tie that matched the bride’s dress, which was a nice touch.

Yousafzai rose to international prominence as a result of her campaigning against the Taliban’s efforts to prevent Pakistani girls from attending school.
