NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all ready to address a major worldwide audience at the India Global Week 2020 today, a three day summit , which will be organized in the UK from July 9. The three-day summit is being held on a virtual platform given restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Will be addressing the India Global Week, organised by India Inc at 1:30 PM tomorrow. This forum brings together global thought leaders and captains of industry, who will discuss aspects relating to opportunities in India as well as the global economic revival post-COVID,” the Prime Minister had said in a tweet.
The India Global Week 2020 is a three-day virtual conference, being held from July 9 to July 11, themed ‘Be The Revival: India and a Better New World’
This event which PM Narendra Modi is going to address will have 5,000 global participants from 30 nations being addressed by 250 global speakers across 75 sessions which will cover a major array of themes, like geopolitics, business, emerging technologies, banking, and finance , pharma , defense, and security and arts and culture.
Indian-origin Hollywood actor Kunal Nayyar, Isha Foundation founder Sadhguru, journalist Barkha Dutt and Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will also speak at the event.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra along with the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Michelle Obama will also be keynote speaker at the 2020 Global Leadership Summit as part of its Girl Up campaign, which has the motto “uniting girls to change the world”.
There are a series of country- specific sessions scheduled to cover India’s ties with countries such as the US, Australia, Singapore and japan.
