France: Philanthropist and art collector Kiran Nadar recently conferred ‘Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur’ by the French Ambassador to India, Emmanuel Lenain. The highest French civilian award comes in recognition of Ms. Nadar’s outstanding contribution in the field o art and her commitment to providing greater access to culture both nationally and internationally.
Kiran Nadar has played a leading role in ostering Indo-French cultural ties. As a chairperson of Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) and a trustee of Shiv Nadar Foundation, she has played a vital role in advancing Indo-French cultural ties and artistic cooperation.
Earlier in February, HCL Enterprises conferred Mr Shiv Nadar. “We are proud to share that Mr. Shiv Nadar has been honored with the prestigious ET Lifetime Achievement Award 2022 for Corporate Excellence and his pathbreaking work in philanthropy through the Shiv Nadar Foundation”, retweeted Kiran Nadar.
