World: After the Taliban occupied the Afghan province that world political leaders have regained conscience and are willing to discuss the matter aggressively. The US forces have not made any serious attempt to control the situation by far. But as per updates from the white house, it is expected that the G7 meeting between world leaders is going to take place in a week.
The US president Joe Biden called British prime minister Boris Johnson to discuss the matter. According to a statement by the white house authorities, “the two leaders discussed the need for continued close coordination among allies and democratic partners on Afghanistan policy going forward, including ways the global community can provide further humanitarian assistance and support for refugees and other vulnerable Afghans”. Biden has also faced severe criticism by the Trump followers for such chaos in the international handling of affairs.
In the meantime, it is also reported by a leading US journal that Biden is keen to discuss the investments that have been made by the US authorities in the past 20 years during the G7 meeting. The report says, “Biden stressed the importance of not losing the gains made in Afghanistan over the last 20 years, of protecting ourselves against any emerging threat from terrorism and of continuing to support the people of Afghanistan”. Meanwhile, the Taliban chief held a press meeting last day to address the international leaders and assured them of all kinds of safety provided to its citizens.
