Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to go on a tour of his parliamentary seat, Varanasi, the day after today. Drawings encompass his meetings with farmers and involvement in the Ganga Aarti at Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple. The visit, spanning 4.5 hours, initially follows his arrival at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Babatpur at 4 pm.

On his visit, PM Modi will inaugurate a ‘Kisan Samelan,’ the 17th KCC Samman Nidhi scheme event, intending to benefit around 2,76,665 farmers in Kashi. According to the reports, about 20 thousand crores are being given to the farmers for different purposes. This means he intends to physically interact with 21 farmers by examining their crops and carrying out a conversation concerning agricultural endeavours within that area.

Speaking of BJP officials, one can get to know that this visit is being seen as a sort of reverence and recognition with regard to the farmers. Dilip Patel of BJP, who has recently become the Kashi President, rejoiced over the fact that PM Modi has once again been re-elected as an MP from the temple city of Varanasi for the third term.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will then visit the sacred Kashi Vishwanath temple for the inauguration of various developmental projects and then will attend the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh ghat. Speaking with the media, Vishwa Bhushan Mishra, head of management at the temple, stated that preparations for the Prime Minister’s darshan are in place, and the session is expected to last for 20-25 minutes.

Subsequently, the topic of discussion revolved around the political gains of the visit since it came during the celebration of the Ganga Saptami festival; Mishra emphasised the fact that Modi’s visit was at a special time with respect to the Ganga Saptami festival.

However, criticism started emerging from the competing political rivals, and one of them was Ajay Rai, who competed with Modi in Varanasi. At the same time, Rai complained about the lack of jobs and local growth and alleged that Modi is using the state only to strengthen his Patel Supporting outsider pulp.
