Nuh: The police administration in Nuh is on full alert for the upcoming Eid al-Adha. Extensive security arrangements have been made to maintain peace and law and order in the district.

On the instructions of Dr. Arpit Jain, special security arrangements have been implemented across the district. The police have clearly warned that strict action will be taken against those who disrupt the communal atmosphere, spread rumors, or share inflammatory posts on social media.

According to the police administration, police forces have been deployed at more than 320 mosques in the district. Additional police forces and platoons have been deployed in sensitive areas, major intersections, and crowded places. Approximately 650 police officers have been assigned special duty, while reserve companies have also been placed on alert.

Cyber ​​team keeps a close eye on social media

Nuh’s cyber team is continuously monitoring several social media platforms including Facebook and WhatsApp. SP Dr. Arpit Jain said that some suspicious social media accounts have been identified and action has been initiated against them.

Special vigilance on May 28

The police administration has further tightened security arrangements, considering May 28th to be extremely sensitive. The special duty will continue until May 30th and may be extended further if necessary.
