Badaun: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a tour of the Badaun district, where he has announced a gift of 44 new projects for the region. During the program held in Sajni of Dataganj Tehsil, CM Yogi inaugurated these projects, marking their foundation stones. Additionally, he inaugurated the BioGas plant of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) in Sajni. The ceremony witnessed the presence of Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, alongside the Chief Minister.
Local representatives warmly welcomed the Chief Minister and the Union Minister on stage. During the event, they presented a silver replica of the Ram Temple and Ram Darbar to express their gratitude. The Union Minister also received a deity’s idol made of eight metals as a token of appreciation.
In his address, Durvijay Singh Shakya, the regional president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), expressed the significance of the HPCL BioGas plant, considering it a fortunate development for everyone. He highlighted that the BioGas plant would play a crucial role in doubling the income of farmers. The plant’s operation is expected to create employment opportunities, reducing the need for farmers to burn crop residues. The utilization of crop residues and cow dung in the plant is a sustainable approach. The plant is capable of producing 14 tons of compressed gas per day once fully operational.
The Chief Minister’s visit and the inauguration of these projects underline the state government’s commitment to the overall development of the region. The BioGas plant, in particular, is anticipated to have positive implications for agricultural practices, environmental sustainability, and economic growth in the district. The occasion also served as a platform for local leaders to express their appreciation for the transformative initiatives undertaken by the government.
