Gwalior: In a significant operation, the police in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, successfully dismantled a sex racket that was operating out of the Laxmi Narayan Guest House. Late at night, the police conducted a raid on the establishment and apprehended a young woman along with three youths involved in the illicit activities. The arrested woman hails from Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Authorities have promptly registered a case against the four individuals and have initiated further legal proceedings.
The incident unfolded within the jurisdiction of Maharajpura police station. It was brought to the attention of the police that the Laxmi Narayan Guest House had been operating as a hub for a sex racket. Taking decisive action, a constable from Maharajpura police station was deployed undercover as a customer on Friday night. Once the transaction was completed, the constable signaled to the waiting police team, which swiftly conducted a raid on the guest house.
Law enforcement apprehended three young individuals who were found in the vicinity of the room where the young woman was located. The suspects have been identified as the guest house operator, a broker, and a customer. The woman involved in the sex trade was identified as a resident of Allahabad. The Maharajpura police will present all three arrested suspects, along with the woman, in court on Saturday.
