Indore: Congress leader and former councilor Anwar Qadri has been sent to jail by the DC court in a case of assault. The court has also directed the police to submit a report to the collector for the cancellation of the accused’s gun license. Two days ago, former councilor Anwar Qadri had assaulted a youth with a weapon. CCTV footage of the incident was revealed. Sadar Bazar police took action against Anwar Qadri based on the CCTV footage, bringing him into custody.
Anwar Qadri was presented in the DC court in the entire case, where, taking restrictive action, he was sent to jail. Anwar Qadri has 36 previous cases registered against him. Along with this, the police have also sent a report to the collector to cancel Anwar Qadri’s gun license. The case of hooliganism by a Congress leader and former councilor came to light in Indore.
