Gwalior. Work has intensified on the country’s largest forest corridor, the Cheetah Corridor. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has issued a statement regarding this corridor. He says that “the Cheetah Corridor is very important because it is very important for animals to move from one side to the other for their hunting, territory, and breeding.

He said, “I congratulate and wish the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for this. May our Madhya Pradesh keep growing under his leadership and guidance. Scindia was not seen answering a question related to Kharge’s statement in the Congress CWC meeting about the need for change in the organization from top to bottom.

The feasibility study for the project will be undertaken by the WII at the earliest, and an MoU between the two states was agreed upon.

The meeting also decided to create a SOPs for free-range movement of cheetahs and prepare a detailed action plan for effective management. Before releasing cheetahs into the wild from Kuno National Park, Deputy Conservators of Forests in Rajasthan will form teams to generate awareness among local communities. Veterinary doctors & forest staff from the concerned districts of Rajasthan will also be trained.
