New Delhi: Delhi Police has arrested social media influencer Dr. Neelam Singh, also known as ‘The Skin Doctor.’ She is accused of posting derogatory tweets against the Kapoor family following the death of businessman Sanjay Kapoor. According to reports, a complaint was filed by the Kapoor family at the Vasant Kunj police station, alleging that the social media posts were offensive and defamatory. Following the complaint, Delhi Police launched an investigation and arrested the influencer. Police are now examining social media posts, digital records, and other relevant evidence.
A police officer stated that the case was registered based on a complaint from the Kapoor family. The complaint alleged that some posts and comments made on social media were objectionable. Following the complaint, an FIR was registered at the Vasant Kunj police station and an investigation was launched. Police have taken action and arrested the accused influencer. According to police sources, the FIR filed by the Kapoor family also names two other social media influencers.
According to Delhi Police sources, a formal complaint was filed at the Vasant Kunj police station in southwest Delhi regarding alleged offensive tweets against the Kapoor family following the death of businessman Sanjay Kapoor. Acting swiftly, police summoned social media influencer Dr. Neelam Singh, alias “The Skin Doctor,” for questioning. Following the interrogation, the police arrested her. Police sources say the investigation is now also focusing on whether the alleged offensive tweets posted on social media were orchestrated or deliberate. Digital records, social media activities, and other electronic evidence are being examined in the case.
