RAIPUR: In a major operation on Saturday the Raipur Railway police busted an interstate smuggling racket and arrested four from Raipur station for allegedly smuggling Ganja from Orissa to MP and Rajasthan.
The police recovered around 49.5 kgs of Ganja worth Rs 4.95 lakh during the search. The arrested smugglers have been identified as residents of Orissa and Mandla in Madhya Pradesh.
It is worth noting that a special campaign is being run on the instructions of SP Railways, Deputy SP, and IPS. Earlier under the same operation, the police nabbed 17 kgs, 13.38kgs, and 19 kgs of Ganja in four separate cases.
