Raipur: A PSC aspirant woman ended her life in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh on Monday. The woman was a bright student and the incident appeared suspicious. The woman was a resident of Balod districts and preparing for PSC examination in Bilaspur for the past 4-5 months.

She was a performer in studies and never showed signs of distress. Police said that the woman Neha Deshmukh, 23, had attended her coaching classes on Tuesday morning while the incident took place at noon.

When the repeated knocks on the door went unanswered, the worried friends peaked from the window to find her hanging. They later reported the incident tothe police.

The cause of suicide is unknown and a probe is underway. Neha was the only daughter to her farmer father and was passionate about her studies.
