Mahasamund: In a tragic accident in the Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh, three trucks collided today morning on NH-53 leading to a huge fire that broke out in all three trucks, due to which the driver of one of those trucks died burning alive.
While another truck driver was badly burnt, the painful accident took place near Bhagat Deori under the Sankara police station area. As soon as the police reached the accident spot, it informed the fire brigade and firefighters brought the fire under control after a lot of effort. The police are still investigating about how many people were there in the vehicle.
Earlier on May 31, a similar accident took place in Korba wherein vehicles on NH 130 Katghora-Chotiya suddenly caught fire due to the high heat of Nautpa. The incident happened in front of a petrol pump just 500 meters from the toll plaza. Two people trapped in the burning vehicle were safely taken out after a lot of effort and were given immediate treatment.
