JABALPUR: An earthquake of magnitude 4.8 on Tuesday, November 1, hit a Dindori in Jabalpur at 8.43 AM, according to the National Center for Seismology. The geostationary center of the quake was located at 22.73 degree north latitude, 81.11 degree east longitude while it’s hypo center remained at a depth of 10 km.
Dindori, Jabalpur, Mandla, Anuppur, Balaghat and Umaria districts have also come under its influence, said locals.
No loss of life or property has been reported said Dindori Collector Ratnakar Jha.
