Corona Update: Chhattisgarh has recorded 8 active cases, 0 deaths, and 10 cured cases; Data by department of health and family welfare.

Chhattisgarh: According to the medical bulletin issued by the government of Chhattisgarh, a total of 3473 potential people of coronavirus have been identified and a sample investigation has been done so far.

So far 3322 reports have been received negative and 133 are under testing. At present, a total of 8 patients are being treated in AIIMS Raipur. The number of passengers returned from abroad (after 1 March 2020) is 2376.

Apart from AIIMS raipur, there is 7 more treatment centre across the state with the 1700 bed capacity. And there is 34 isolation centre in the state which is continuously working to isolate the corona suspected people.From the start date till now 85485 persons are in quarantine in the state, out of which currently 75757 persons are in-home quarantine. They all are in under Constant monitoring by the Police Department.

Katghora is being completely locked down after 9 new cases are identified. And 30 new parties are formed which is going door-to-door to investigate corona suspects and sensitive patients.

The government has appealed to all the people of the state to inform about all people who have moved or stayed in kathghora from last three weeks in their toll-free number 104. And the government also appealed to  Cooperate with them to fight against Corona infection, and stay away from rumors.
