Chhattisgarh: The growing number of coronavirus cases has created a big hurdle in the nation. Due to this pandemic outbreak, the country is going through an economic crisis and taking several steps to help out people in every possible way. Currently, all the states in India are infected with COVID-19. Currently 34 states/UTs are affected by the coronavirus infection,The total number of coronavirus patients in the country stood at 138,845 and death toll stands at 4021.

Chhattisgarh Coronavirus bulletin:

With 35 new COVID-19 cases, mostly migrant workers returning from other states, the number of positive cases in Chhattisgarh mounted to 252 on Sunday. The number of people recovered and discharged reached to 67 in the state.

So far in Chhattisgarh, a total of 52878 probable persons of coronavirus symptom have been sampled in which 49996 results have been found negative and 2631 are under scrutiny.

In the last 24 hours, Chhattisgarh reported 36 new cases, out of which 19 cases are from Bilaspur, 05 cases are from Balrampur, 03 cases are from Kawardha. Raigarh, Gariyabandh, Surguja, Bemetara has one case each with 2 cases each in Balodabazar and Korea. However, Ambikapur-Korea district has 1 discharged case and Bilaspur-Janjgir has 2 discharged cases. 

There are a total of 184 active patients affected by coronavirus pandemic in Chhattisgarh. Of 184 active cases, 48 patients are being treated at AIIMS Raipur, Mana hospital in Raipur has 35 patients whereas, another hospital dealing with COVID-19 patients in Bilaspur has 24 patients. Medical College hospital at Ambikapur has 11 patients and Medical College Rigarh has 10 patients with coronavirus. Medical College Rajnandgaon has 21 patients.

The state has organized a few COVID-19 containment zones for the early detection of coronavirus. The zones would help to prevent the local transmission of the virus by carrying out the task of door to door sample testing in the areas. 

Till now there are 18,751 quarantine centers in the state that have the capability to test 6,86,579 people. There are a total of 1,59,868 people in quarantine. On Sunday around 4468 migrants returned to the state and they would be released and allowed to go home only after a thorough checkup.
