Raipur: Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has made contributions in implementing initiatives to improve the lives of the state’s residents. One noteworthy effort is the “Mitan Yojana,” which reflects Baghel’s dedication to fulfilling the needs of every citizen in Chhattisgarh.

Under CM Baghel’s leadership, the Mitan Scheme has effectively addressed challenges faced by the people. This scheme has provided millions with access to government services from their homes, benefiting individuals. It truly demonstrates the government’s commitment to enhancing facilities and services across the state.

Moreover, the Chhattisgarh government has introduced programs aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and creating employment opportunities while also saving time and effort for its citizens. A remarkable example is the Mahatma Gandhi Urban Industrial Park, established across 14 corporations and 44 municipal councils. This initiative aims to foster entrepreneurship, self-employment, and self-reliance in areas offering improved job prospects for entrepreneurs, self-help groups, and young job seekers.

Understanding the paced nature of life, the “Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana” ensures that citizens are spared from frequent visits to government offices. In this system, designated representatives called “mitans” visit people’s homes to collect the information needed for government paperwork, assist with documentation, and provide home delivery services. This initiative was initially launched in all 14 corporations and has now been expanded to include all municipal councils as well, as two nagar panchayats located in district headquarters.
