Raipur: A retired IFS(Indian Forest Services) official, K.C. Yadav, dies of coronavirus in Raipur on Tuesday. With this, the death toll in Chhattisgarh rose to 14.

Yadav was admitted to Raipur AIIMS Hospital on Monday morning, where 66-year old succumbed to the virus died at around 11:30 pm last night. AIIMS management has confirmed his death.

According to the sources, On Saturday, KC Yadav went to Kharora, Balodabazar and a day after he showed the symptom of coronavirus. After that on Monday, He admitted to the AIIMS, Raipur where he suffered cardiac arrest as well as tested positive of covid19. Notably, Yadav was Diabetic.

KC Yadav was a 1984 batch IFS officer. He has held many important responsibilities in Chhattisgarh Forest. KC retired in the month of June 2019. After retiring, KC Yadav was awarded PhD in the subject of Bio Science by the Faculty of Biological and Chemical Science of Mats University Raipur in September 2019.
