BJP MP Raghav Chadha has shown his support towards former Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu in a recent case. The latter has alleged that his convoy was attacked by a group of people in Batala, Punjab.
Bittu talked about the incident and said that a group of people went on to attack his convoy when he was travelling from Amritsar to Pathankot to attend the launch event of BJP’s ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra’. He said that the attack took place near the Batala village, where people started throwing eggs, tomatoes and other things on his vehicle. It is also being claimed that some windows of his convoy vehicles have also been damaged.
Bittu even made some serious allegations that the attack has been carried out by the Aam Aadmi Party. As his security team went on to catch three people, it is being said that they are related to AAP, while no such investigations have taken place on this matter. Reports even claimed that Bittu has asked for an immediate investigation to the same.
Raghav Chadha has reacted to the incident, as he even raised some questions on the law and order of Punjab. He said that if a former Union Minister, who has Z-plus security, is treated like this, what would happen to the others.
Bittu even said that around 100 people were involved in this incident, as another report claims that around 200 people had surrounded his convoy.
