Breaking: Chhattisgarh’s Raipur records 3 new cases; Active cases in the capital reaches 14

Chhattisgarh: The capital city of Chhattisgarh, Raipur has recorded 3 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday,  the case count in the district rose to 23 , a health official said.

Of these 3 new cases, One is a minor girl residing in Devpuri, other case of a 25 years old girl from Ramsagar para has come to light and lastly a worker tested positive who was reportedly working in the same factory where earlier a person died of the virus.

It has been reported that none have any travel history which indicates Chhattisgarh has now entered in the 3rd stage of coronavirus i.e. Community transmission. Sources said the officials have begin contact tracing of these patients and have sealed the concerned areas.

With this, the active cases in the city jumps to 14, whereas 1 death have been reported from the district.

According to the State Health bulletin, 86 people have been infected on Wednesday night – highest ever, thus taking the total tally to 383 in the state. There have been 189 patients recovered from the disease. As many as 2 deaths have been recorded till date.
