The week’s WWE Raw began with Jey Uso, the Intercontinental Champion, celebrating his win a week after bagging the title in front of the Ford Centre in Evansville, Indiana, on September 30. Before the match, during the promo, Uso was ranting about how he failed in the past due to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline members being in his way. He also spared some time to thank his mother for her support in words that appealed to the audience by calling her his biggest fan. To spice up the event more, Bron Breakker offered his hand to show respect to Uso before shaking it with Uso.
As the night went on, a big and expected stare-down between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre happened inside Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood. However, during the segment, the two competitors were not allowed to physically move on each other as this was the final promotion in the lead-up to the Bad Blood event. There was a lot of verbal threatening, as Punk told McIntyre that he would take him home in a box, which raised the rivalry between these two before the encounter.
The first bout saw Xavier Woods confront Rey Mysterio. Mysterio was on the offense to start the match, pinning Woods to the outside before performing his trademark 619. But Woods replied, allowing Mysterio to concentrate on his mask during the pinning process while Woods capitalized on the afterthought to achieve a pinfall win.
At a later point in time, Judgement Day further went dominant against LWO; Finn Balor was able to take advantage of the outside distraction caused by Liv Morgan to score a crucial pin for himself; JD McDonald finally administered the Devil Inside on Joaquin Wilde.
In another tag team brawl, The Authors of Pain fought against The Awesome Truth. The climax of the match was when The Miz betrayed his partner R-Truth, which allowed AOP to land their signature move and pin-up for the victory.
The main event of WWE RAW was interesting for the fans as Braun Strowman went against Bronson Reed. This was a Last Monster Standing Match and both men were equally strong against each other. The ring also broke down when Bronson Reed took down Strowman with a Superplex. Just when Reed was about to win, Seth Rollins returned and gave Reed a Curb Stomp on the steel steps. This allowed Braun Strowman to secure the win in the main event.
