Earlier, on Friday, as many as ten members of the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led CSK camp were confirmed infected with COVID-19. Deepak Chahar, the Indian bowler, is believed to be the lone player in the list of infected persons. The unfortunate development in the CSK camp has reportedly forced the BCCI to adopt a wait and watch policy on how to proceed with conducting IPL 2020 in the UAE.
Players of the CSK team had left for UAE earlier this month for the tournament to be held from September 19 to November 10.
