The proceedings kicked off with Gujarat winning the toss and inviting Mumbai to bat first, following which they posted a challenging 162/8 on the board. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur scored 51 off 30 balls, while Yastika Bhatia Nat Sciver-Brunt chipped in crucial contributions. Bhatia scored 44 (37), and Sciver scored 36 (31).
