Bhopal– The Superintendent of Police (SP) of Rajgarh district, Madhya Pradesh, has transferred a Town Inspector (TI), three head constables, and eight constables. The SP has also attached five sub-inspectors to the police lines.
The transfers and attachments were made on Monday, June 6, 2023. The SP has not given any reason for the transfers and attachments. However, it is speculated that the transfers were made after the SP received complaints of corruption and inefficiency from the public.
The TI who has been transferred is Suresh Chandra Sharma. Rajesh Kumar Sharma has replaced him. Dinesh Kumar, Ram Singh, and Suresh Kumar are the three head constables that have been moved. The eight constables who have been transferred are Rajendra Singh, Ramu, Mohan, Vijay, Suresh, Ramkishan, and Laxman.
Rakesh Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Ram Singh, and Mohan are the five sub-inspectors assigned to police lines.
The transfers and attachments have come as a surprise to the police personnel in the Rajgarh district. They are trying to understand why the SP has taken such drastic action. However, they hope that the transfers and attachments will help improve the functioning of the police department in the district.
The SP has said that he will not tolerate any kind of corruption or inefficiency in the police department. He has warned the police personnel that they will be dealt with sternly if found involved in any wrongdoing.
