Bhopal: The SS Chauhan led govt today announced to lift the Night curfew. The decision of which was made by CM himself at a COVID review meeting held at the state secretariat on 22nd February.
Taking to Twitter, CM Chauhan appealed to the people to keep following COVID norms and take precautions during the upcoming festivals. “The positivity rate is less than 1%. Therefore, Nigh Curfew is being lifted from Today’s midnight,” the tweet read.
It was a week ago, the SS Chauhan govt lifted COVID-19 curbs but decided to keep the night curfew in place. All schools and colleges were permitted to operate at full strength. Ban on all social, cultural, political and religious gatherings was scrapped completely. The cap on weddings and funerals was also erased.
The State in the past 24 hours logged 6897 active infections. Nearly, 1475 recuperated taking the total to 10,176,73. Roughly, 10,717 succumbed to the virus since the inception of the pandemic.
