Indore: After three days of vigorous discussion, State’s MSME Minister Omprakash Saklecha has approved the demand put forth by Dalit Yuva Sangh. A first of its kind industrial cluster would be set up in Indore where entrepreneurs from backward and other casts would be prioritized for commercial set ups.
Approving the demands, the minister has assured to start the process of allocation through identification of land from February -March.
For several months now , Dalit Yuva Sangh president Dharmendra Golia and industrialist Sanjay Patwardhan had demanded to provide land to the reserved category entrepreneurs at reasonable rates. It was proposed that an industrial area should be such where land and facilities should be given to the new entrepreneurs of this class to set up their industry.The first cluster to be benefitted from this scheme would be OBC and Dalit Categories followed by the other casts.
Earlier on Thursday, principal secretary (Energy) Sanjay Dubey held a meeting where he gave necessary instructions to the officials for the betterment of power supply to the industrial area which will be helpful in encouraging industrial activities in the area. He discussed various issues and topics with the operators and representatives of of Pithampur Audyogik Sangathan in the meeting.
