Gwalior: Post monsoon rains are likely over Gwalior-Chambal during the next few hours as Meteorological Department has issued an alert. The state may witness rains and thundershowers in the next few hours and night. The rain and thundershowers are likely to occur in Datia, Gwalior, Shivpuri. Light to moderate clouds had camped in the state since Sunday.
Earlier on Tuesday and Wednesday, there was rain and thunder in Bundelkhand and Baghelkhand. Cloudy and rain conditions will prevail as this will be the first rain post-monsoon. The day and night temperatures have increased due to clouds in the region.
After a mild cold October in Madhya Pradesh, there has not been much drop in temperature. Two systems have passed through Pakistan and as soon as it leaves, there is a possibility of that day and night temperatures drop by 4 degrees.
