Bhopal: With the increasing rise in demand for medical facilities for the covid patients, we also see the inhuman behavior of some sections of the society every day. From charging hefty amounts to carry patients to hospitals to the black marketing of the emergency medicines, we have seen it all. Now, the MP police have managed to arrest three such culprits who were involved in black marketing of Remdesivir, an important drug to treat covid.
Several reports of Remdesivir black marketing were reported from parts of MP’s Chhindwara. Now, the police arrested three of them in the black marketing scam that even includes a nurse. Manish Badoria, MP police, said, “We have arrested three including a nurse. We have seized five Remdesivir injections from their possession. Investigation on.”
In Indore, 21 people were booked against the black marketing of the drug. In Shahdol also, 3 persons were arrested including one nurse and 2 lab technicians. The IG of Haryana, Hari Narayan Chari Mishra said, “21 people booked under National Security Act for black marketing of Remdesivir injection. Those found selling fake Remdesivir drugs booked under charges of culpable homicide. SIT constituted to investigate such matters”. While the country suffers from a pandemic that has become hard to control, some inhuman acts still find a way through it!
